The illiterate of the future will not those who cannot read and write;
but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn.

மழை
எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடிக்கும்
மழைத்துளியில் என் கண்ணிர்த்துளிகள்
கறைந்து மறைந்து விடுகிறது!
Don't Miss Out! - "How to be like Walt"
Worth buying and reading!
Read it at the right time of life!
I could associate lot of things with me. Each one could associate things with yourself when you read.
One of it is:
"When someone you love asks for something, You find a way to deliver it - and that's when magic happens. But if you don't love this person, you are not going to work overtime, you are not going to sacrifice. ....... With love, anything is possible. Even the impossible is possible when there is love."

Me colored!?
This poem was nominated by UN as the best poem of 2006, Written by an African Kid
When I born, I black
When I grow up, I black
When I go in Sun, I black
When I scared, I black
When I sick, I black
And when I die, I still black
And you white fellow
When you born, you pink
When you grow up, you white
When you go in sun, you red
When you cold, you blue
When you scared, you yellow
When you sick, you green
And when you die, you gray
And you calling me colored??

Beer's Poem!!
Which art in barrels,
Hollowed be thy drink.
I will be drunk,
At home as in the tavern.
Give us this day our foamy head,
And forgive us our spillages,
As we forgive those who spill against us.
And lead us not into incarceration,
But deliver us from hangovers.
For thine is the beer,
the bitter and the lager.....
Forever and ever,
By some Barmen..

The Dash.. Irony of Life!!
When I read the poem below I remember people saying on somebody's death .."may his soul rest in peace";
The irony of this is we don't give the person the happiness and peace during his lifetime.
I don't believe in life after death! What is that person going to get after his death!!
Let's learn this and try to give everyone around us true happiness, joy, smiling times
and ways to enjoy every second of life and live the life he wishes for!!
Lets spread the smile across! Live and let others live!!!
The Dash
by Linda Ellis
I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From the beginning to the end.
He noted that first came the date of her birth
And spoke of the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars, the house, the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard;
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough
To consider what's true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.
And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we've never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect
And more often wear a smile,
Remembering that this special dash
Might only last a little while.
So when your eulogy is being read
With your life's actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent your dash?
